Guidelines and Application Form
The Strategic Partnerships Program 2026-2027 Funding Guidelines (the SPP Funding Guidelines) form part of this Application Form and should be read in their entirety prior to completing the questions below.
The SPP Funding Guidelines 2026-2027 contain important information about:
- the SPP's aims and the types of initiatives it funds
- eligibility and selection criteria
- key concepts that underpin the SPP and inform assessment of applications
- tips for preparing a good application
- the role and responsibilities of funded organisations.
Please do not complete this Application Form if your organisation is ineligible to apply.
Prior to submitting your organisation’s Application Form, please take time to ensure you have read the Application Form in full and that your responses address the selection criteria listed in the SPP Funding Guidelines.
Word limits
Please note that word limits apply for each response.
Q & A sessions
Interested organisations are invited to attend online Q & A sessions for the SPP 2026-2027 funding round. These sessions will be held during the open application period and (free) tickets to information sessions can be booked through Eventbrite.
Notification of outcome
The Department of Education will advise the outcome of your organisation’s application via the contact name(s) and email address(es) you provide in the Application Form. Successful organisations will be invited to enter into a Common Funding Agreement. A fully executed Common Funding Agreement is a required precondition for the Department to issue funding to any successful organisation.
Lodgement of Applications
Applications must be submitted via SmartyGrants by 3pm 10 June 2025.
Late applications will not be accepted.
Handwritten, postal, emailed and/or hand delivered applications will not be accepted.
